Joan Rivers stops breathing during surgery, said to be in critical condition

 
Comedian and E! Fashion Police star Joan Rivers was rushed to the hospital in New York City this afternoon after she stopped breathing during a surgery on her throat

Rivers, 81, was undergoing a throat procedure in a clinic when she stopped breathing. She was rushed to Mount Sinai hospital in New York where authorities said she’s in critical condition.

After her heart stopped breathing during surgery, an emergency call was placed to 911 and the caller said, “We have somebody in either cardiac or respiratory arrest.”

A Chinese boy has been living with intense pain due to having 10 vertebrae in his neck instead of 7.
15-year-old Fu from Beijing has been called “Giraffe Boy” because of his long neck.
Wengui, who lives in Beijing, can barely walk well due to the extra pressure on his neck.
‘These vertebrae press on the nerves in his neck and make it difficult for him to walk,' 'He always causes a stir whenever he goes out.'
The teen has been diagnosed with congenital scoliosis and abnormal chest frame and is now set to have corrective surgery to fix the problem.
He said: 'I just hope I can have a normal neck.'

Two new cases of Ebola disease confirmed in Nigeria

 
Minister of Health Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu announced today August 22nd that Nigeria has recorded two new cases of the Ebola disease.

The Minister said the two new cases are spouses of the primary contacts of late Patrick Sawyer, the man who brought Ebola to Nigeria. Prof. Chukwu said the two new cases are the first secondary contacts in isolation to test positive to the deadly virus.
